Has Anyone Had Joint Pain And Numbness/pins And Needles In Extremities From AI's (aromasin, Arimidex)?? Have You Found Anything To Help?
Dr. showed me a study that showed that AI's work much better than Tamoxifen in post-menopausal women. im hesitant to go back since ive had a hystetectomy and oophrectemy.
I was on the menopause fence at 46 (youngish) before chemo and I have a history of blood clots from Factor 5 Leiden - so my Onc put me on arimadex/anastrozole with injections of Lupron every 3 moths to help shut down the ovaries. I do get bad hip pain - specially when I have to stand for a while - but I had pretty moderate hip pain before chemo (gymnastics and track/hurdles through college). I do get sore feet - pins and needles - specially when I first wake up in the morning and waddle to the bathroom. But after waddling down to the kitchen it starts to feel better.
Quality of life, not quantity. I could not take it any longer. With these "Cancer" pills. This medicine hurts my knees SO frigging bad I could barely walk!! I stopped. QUALITY of life is just too important for me. I'll take my chances. With surgery along with radiation was just inconvenience compared to this medicine. God Bless you all.
I tried all of them but tomixifan. I find anastrazole least pain but just started cymbalta for joint pain and it is helping immensely
Exemestane 25 mg. Any one with comments, experience, pain? A comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks ladies.
I've been on @Arimidex over a year now. Between the nightly pill of @Arimidex and the Zometa infusion once a month (bone strengthening) I feel like I'm about 90 when I wake up in the morning - hands and feet achy. But, once I get across the room, I start to feel better and then that's it for the day. I can put up with that, as long as it keeps killing my cancer like it's been doing!
On the frustrating side of the Arimidex is the insomnia. The mega-menopause is not fun. Although that's the only problem (no hot flashes, etc.) but it's a bugger to deal with when I have to get up to go to work. I'm trying different things to deal with the insomnia.
The achiness and insomnia is bearable, cancer isn't.
Does Arimidex Cause All Over Body Joint Pain For The Entire Time.? I'm In Month 4 With Arimidex And Fulvestrant
I Am Being Take Off Letrozole And Changed To Aromasin. I Am Worried About Side Effects
