I had my husband buzz my hair with a #1 clippers a few weeks ago. I was afraid of going with the bare blade because I was afraid he would nick my scalp. So I have prickly white stubble in my head, probably 1/16 of an inch long. My problem is when I wear hats, scarves or wigs it itche's like crazy. I have used argon oil and conditioner on my scalp. It doesn't itch when I go bald but just when The stubble rubs up against anything. I have tried wearing hats to bed but the itch esse drives me… read more

Believe me it will fall out. The one good thing I noticed when mine came back in was that I hardly have any on my legs which is great because I don't have to shave much and it's real fast when I do. My hair came in thicker, darker and grater lol on my head. I've had more compliments on my hair then ever before. One lady actually waited in parking lot for me to get out of my car to say how nice it was. You know when your heading to work and feel shitty it feels good to hear something nice said to you.

At that shop I was telling you about they told me to put some Eucerine cream on my scalp while I'm showering and rinse it off before I get out of the shower. That might soften the stubble until it falls out.

@A MyBCTeam Member please don't do that. It makes me so nervous to think you would do that. Believe me it will fall out soon enough. Then when it starts to grow back in its so soft like rabbit fur. Did you ask your doctor or call TLC and see what they recommend you do in the meantime. Xxxooo

I have to say wigs made life easier in some ways - forgot how long it took to style your hair all the time.

I lost all my hair, even the stubble with 4 rounds of chemo. Even bald, I would wash my hair with a mixture of Pantene and Head and Shoulders. A friend said her son was a pharmacist and that there was something in both of them that helped with regrowing hair. So nothing to loose, I had to wash my head anyways. Within weeks after my last chemo, my hair started coming in super fast. By Christmas last year I actually had a full head of hair, may not have been long, but sure beats being bald!.
