Elizabeth Wescott earned her Bachelor of Science with Honors in Biology from Davidson College in 2016. Following her undergraduate studies, she dedicated her efforts to HIV-1 research and vaccine development at the Duke Human Vaccine Institute. Elizabeth is currently completing her doctorate in immunology and cancer biology at Vanderbilt University, with a research focus on improving immunotherapy outcomes for patients with breast cancer. She loves talking to others about the immune system and is particularly passionate about science outreach, communication, and education.
