Has Anyone Developed Severe Vertigo As A Side Effect Of Chemo Or Meds, If So What Can I Do?
The doctors are at a loss, not BPPV, or anything else diagnosable. Starts with ringing in the left ear> roaring> spinning and can't see> vomiting and lying in bed for 6 to 8 hrs throwing up in a garbage can
Very interesting, after reading your question and your symptoms I realize I do have some, not all and not as intense. I did find after I was done with Chemo I experienced a ringing in my ears followed by a light headedness that I would get scared I would pass out. It happened several times.
Vertigo may be caused by complicated migraines. Stress has a lot to do with migraines too, so try to relax as much as possible. Hopefully it is only that...
Just read this!I am on my third bout of vertigo since treatment ended. I don't know what the triggers are but your description is right-on. And I hate it.
Thank you for replying. I finally have an appointment with a neurologist on Monday. This has been going on since April! Maybe they can figure it out. The best to you!
Did they give you something like Zofran to use before, during and after chemo? It's for nausea.
