Is There Any Help For Corrective Surgery From A Lumpectomy?

Unfortunately for me it looks like the law covers reconstruction for mastectomy,I saw no mention of lumpectomy but I will continue to inquire at my oncologist maybe he will have another plastic surgeon to send me to.Thanks for all the info & if anyone has anything to add,I will continue to read the replies.
i was told by my surgeon that everyone was entitled by law to leave the hospital with symectrical breast. I had cancer in both breasts 2 lumpectomies with wide margins and basically a breast reduction. With medicare which I will be on next year...maybe it has something to do with the choice of words or codes that the doc used. Reconstruction should be something you are entitled to.It certainly is not cosmetic. Please look into this a little more and let us know about what you find out Hugs
