I Heard In The Spanish News That Medicaid Pay For The Areola Tattoo..is It True?

Yes and no..it depends where you get it done. If it's an approved medical facility, it's considered part of reconstruction and is paid for.

I was told that they just recently decided tattooing is considered cosmetic and not covered. They (hospital) said I would have to pay $300 up front and then submit a claim to blue cross with a letter from doctor saying it was a necessary part of breast reconstruction, for reimbursement! We shall see; tattooing in two weeks!
