Will I get my menatrual cycle back? It stopped last year sept. 2013 when I started chemo. It still hasn't returned. Anyone go through this? I would love to hear your experiences. Thanks!

My period stopped after my first session of chemo in Sept 07. As of today, it's never come back...but I am 58 yrs old.

I stopped chemo February 24th and got my period on July 1st. I wasn't getting it and getting crazy. I started acupuncture for nerve issues from chemo. The lady doing the acupuncture told me after my first treatment I would get my period..Sure enough she was right. I think the pathways in my body were moved around from the acupuncture and sure enough...menstral cycle started.

Mine came back about 3 months after chemo but it has never been the same since. Always spotting, some cycles light, some cycles heavy. I had a biopsy and it came back clear. How long were you on chemo? I had 4 rounds. If you had more, maybe it takes more time?
