The % of helpfulness is new to me. What is that medical terms? I got a blood test back and it stated that my cancer was un-dectable so why take the drug?

Ask for a prognosticating calculator to determine just exactly how much (%) it benefits you. Every woman is different. I was 95% ER+ but Tamoxifen only benefitted me 1%! I stopped it and never looked back. That was 5 years ago 😊

I too only have 1% improvement and estrogen positive. I have trialed Tamoxifen for 3 months now and was weighing up the side effects. To be fair it has been extremely hot here presently so I can really say the Tamoxifen is making the night sweats. It is however playing havoc with my Lady Parts. I will give it another 3 months and then decide if its worth the 10 year plan.

I was estrogen positive too. 2% was mine. My Dr said I should stay on hormone blocker to keep cancer from coming back.
