Nipple Reconstruction
I'm having my nipple reconstruction on 12/14. Is there anyone on this site that has had a positive experience with this procedure and actually like how the nipples look? All I see are negative comments. I'm already on the fence about this surgery. I just need to hear from people who don't have any regrets for getting nipples.
I am having mine done 12/23… Merry Christmas to me! I am nervous as well. Hoping they come out straight and as natural looking as possible. I wonder about the tattooing now. How long will that take. My PS office told me Its like a 3 visit process and that makes me wonder why? I figured all small tattoos can be done in a day?
Yes. I love my reconstructed nipples. They look very natural. One of the better features of my bilateral breast reconstruction. Probably going to need a breast implant revision, but the nipples turned out well and it was an easy procedure. You do need to take very good care of them while they are healing though.

It's been almost a year for me and the right tattoo has started to fade -- going back in for a touch up. I hear it's normal to have some fading and require touch ups.
I had nipple reconstruction and they look great! I had first tattoo also. I think it is harder for the reconstructed skin to hold the color. The lady thought I would only have to do two sessions. I chose my color, and I am very happy with results.
I Just Had A Double Mastectomy And Am Going Through The Filling Of The Expanders. I Wanted To Get Some Opinions On Nipple Reconstruction.
So I Had A Bilateral Mastectomy 5 Weeks Ago. I Will Get My Implants Next. Wondering What Everyone Did For The Nipple And Areola?
