Yes, I know several people who have refused chemo for various reasons and I refused my 6th treatment with my first cancer because my body just said "no more!" You always have choice. Almost all treatment is based on statistical studies, but each one of us is different and we may not respond in a "statistically" expected way.

It's been a one month since I finished radiation and I am feeling great. I have itching on my breast from time to time but after calendula cream it is go away. Everything back to normal, my hear grow back , eyebrow, eyelashes.. and my sense of humor too :D I am now on tamoxifen for the next 5 years. How are you doing?

I wanted to refuse chemo but because of the positive lymph node my oncologist told me my chances for recurrence will be 80% without chemo so, I had surgery, chemo and radiation.
