Which Bra Is Best?

A MyBCTeam Member asked a question 💭

So week out of exchange surgery and lift. Doing well. Having severe lower back pain. Not sure why, really bad after sleeping. Thinking it's because I can't roll over and the pressure is too much. ? Anyhow just wondering if anyone has any advice on bras. Underwire? Any thoughts?

Try a wacoal halo lace wire free bralette or wacoal how perfect wire free bra. Neither bra has a wire, the fabric is smoorth and soft on the 'how perfect" bra, the bralette is aslo soft but has lace so it may bother some folks. Both of these work for me, I'm 10 months past reconstruction.

I am a year post left mastectomy and 2 months past my last reconstruction. I still haven't found a bra I can wear for more than a few hours. The most comfortable one I have found is a Bali stretch. It has no wire, and is soft all over with padded cups or no padding. regular bras just don't work. My plastic surgeon said it could take up to a year before all the pain was gone. Most of my discomfort is from my scars where they did a lift in my right breast. left one is fine no pain since week 2!

Yes, Soma has great wireless bras, I wear those or wireless t-shirt bras from the Gap. Also Google Coobie- I know a lot of women that wear them as regular bras, I sleep in them but they are very comfortable but have normal straps so you don't have sports bra lines.

Go to soma.com and try their non-underwire bras. Heard about them from my niece!

Almost 10 years out and can't do underwire. Stick with sleep or sport type bras
