I had implants, after having cancer. I had to have a double mascectomy and double reconstruction. I had Implants inserted 8 months ago, after having the expanders in. I have not experienced any problems whatsoever. It has been fine, they feel very comfortable.

My first pair failed because my skin couldn't hold them. My plastic gave me a lift and new implants. All is good now.

I had a single mastectomy and then had problems with the incision from nipple was to the bottom of my boob. It look like it split apart but without bleeding and I still look like I had a nipple cuz the scab was so bad. My plastic thought there might be an infection so he went in there, cleaned it out, put it back together and he used bigger stitches or thicker stitches and I am so grateful that he did cuz it healed with one little itty bitty line. I still have to get the reconstruction yet after my chemo and stuff like that, but hopefully it looks the same as it does now. I'll be very happy. Good luck with yours
