Are you on hormone therapy? That causes anthralgia.

@ KarenVavraPost chemo joint and bone pain is difficult by itself., my pain include same symptoms but with nerve damage included. I have seen countless Physicians, therapist and the pain is still the same. It is a difficult task to have a quality of life, because a person never know when the pain will subside. I have personally heard from countless people so many solutions but no real answers. I'm a serious researcher and have not yet found one scientist that can offer complete relief.- Sherlon

On hormone therapy for almost 4 years now. Movement is what helps me deal with joint and muscle pain. Worked out all through chemo and Herceptin and Radiation therapies. Still workout and walk. This is one of the few things that make me feel in control and strong. I can empathize with you Danielle because, as my PT says, "dont try to take her workouts away, girl thrives on them." Chemo hurt and some workouts were better than others, but I pushed through. Occasionally I allowed a tear afterward. I also use a product called Topricin which works better for me than the Prescription arthritis med the rheumatologist gave me. Danielle, if you can work out just a few minutes do it, gradually the emotional memories will fade. Maybe try different ways/exercises to ease back in. I use a Total Gym and bands and stretching and it works for me. I too use Turmeric because I have an autoimmune and it helps tamp down the inflammation. Rheumatologist told me I could take quite a bit of it as the research being done for autoimmune is with as much as 8000 mg/day. I take 1600mg/day with 486mg Ginger, 150mg curcuminoids from turmeric extract and 15mg black pepper. I will be thinking of you Danielle and hoping you get back to your happy place soon. Sending happy thoughts of strength and perseverance.

I LOVED working out most of my adult life and loved the muscle soreness after a good weight session. NOW I have a real "emotional" time with it. I did lunges yesterday and walking up the stairs today....always brings me back to joint and muscle pain of Chemo. I am trying to "retrain my brain" to separate the two feelings. They are TOO Similar. :(
