I had more problems with mucus several years back and that has improved. For some reason, mucinex and I do not get along! I get cold sores from that. I did end up taking a supplement called n-acetylcysteine which I have not taken for years now. It seemed to bring up the mucus just fine. Also, whenever I got bronchitis I took RidgeCrest Herbals Clear Lungs Extra Strength and that helped me even more than mucinex without the sores. Honestly, I haven't taken anything in years specifically for my lung. Water with lemon or green tea with lemon is a very powerful expectorant. I mostly keep exercising to keep my lung clear. It does just stiff sometimes more than others and I can tell it's damaged because I can breath in a way to make it making a wheezing noise but I mostly only notice this in bed laying down. Sometimes my sleep is more comprised than others from my injured lung. That is my biggest problem and occasionally I feel like I could use more air and am not getting it but I think I've had improvement over the years. I have been diligent about trying to solve this the natural way however. I sooooooooo wish you well with what you are going through as I know it can be pretty tough. Hugs!

I am 6 1/2 years post breast cancer treatment for Stage 1 Triple Neg. I just found out my high blood pressure is pulmonary hypertension. Caused by the chemo Doxorubicin -"red Devil". There is damage to my pulmonary arteries and my heart is not resting between beats. Going to specialist next week.

@A MyBCTeam Member, I'd love to hear what happens at your appointment. I've never had asthma or breathing problems but I def. have something going on now. I chose to self-treat and have been getting along pretty well.
