Stage 4 Breast Cancer That Spread To My Back, Does The Pain Ever Leave?
I had a double mastectomy and less then a year later breast cancer came back an my back was completely cover with cancer over every bone. Chemo cleared it off my bones but less then a month after chemo cut came back in my lymph nodes in my back and neck. I am having a hard time with the pain and was wondering if it ever goes away and what pain medicines might be working for you. Prayers and hugs, maybe you can ask your doctor about a nerve block? Have you been to a hospital's Pain Management Program?
I have degenerative disc disease and have bad pain from my surgeries and Tamoxifen. I take Norco and go to acupuncture and chriropracter
Hi Lore, I am sorry that you are experiencing so much back pain. The fact that the cancer has returned to your back makes it unlikely that you are going to be pain free without continued pain medication. That being said there is a medical specialty in pain management. Please see if you can get a referral to a pain management specialist who should be able to help you with your pain. I wish you well.

I have stage 4 that's in my spine and shoulder blades and I have the same issue with the constant back aches. I soak with Epsom salt at night and take Percocet to help with the pain.
