Try WW. I'm on tamoxifen and are losing weight.

Thanks. I’m not okay with gaining 20 or evening out. I need to find a way to lose what I’ve gained. I haven’t heard of anyone so far who’s been able to do that. Looks like I will be going off!

@A MyBCTeam Member i know its scary to gain this weight-I am working out with a personal trainer just to try to break even! I went on a break from Tamoxifen and my doctor is trying me on the post menapasual stuff-even though its the lack of estrogen that makes us gain weight. I did hear that your body will even itself out--they call it the Tamoxifen 20. And I have gained 20 pounds--drink as much water as possible.

Have you considered changing your diet? I went on a ketogenic (low carb diet) before my BC and I dropped 30 pounds in about 6 months. The first place I noticed the loss was in my mid-section. Do some research and give it a try. It may help with your other issues as well. Check out the The Magic Pill on Netfliex. It literally changed my life for the better.

I too have gained weight from tamoxifen, just started my 3rd year on it, 2 more to go. I’m thinking of stopping it but I’m afraid to. Are we able to take diet pills to help loose weight? Right before I started tamoxifen, I had lost 30, now I’m 5 lbs away from gaining it all back. Ugh!
