Hello ladies, I haven’t been on in a while haven’t felt very well since my explant. Just wondering if anyone was ever diagnosed with stage 1 IDC, PR and ER positive and her 2 negative. No lymph nodes involved, didn’t need radiation or chemo just on medication for 10 years. Curious as to re-current from my type of diagnosis of three years ago.

Definitely get it checked out. I have terrible sciatica so my GP referred me to Spine/Pain Management. They did X-rays and a MRI and discovers extensive spinal damage and bulging discs but no cancer.

I think doctors do women a disservice when they call them cancer free. When you have cancer you need to be vigilant for signs of reoccurence because it can happen no matter what stage you are. You said you are not feeling well, what symptoms are you having? It is always good to report symptoms to your ONC that last more than several weeks.

That was my 1st bout with cancer. I didn't follow up with meds due to side effects. I went cancer free for 16 years. When it reoccur it was Stage 2. Was stupid and thought I would go another 16 years. 4 years later I now have Stage 4, metastatic breast cancer. By the grace of God my PET scan came back clear after 3 chemo sessions. My doctor had me due radiation following the cancer just to be extra cautious. I'm now taking medication and will most likely be on it always. I've finally learned. Hope this helps. I think I was the only one who didn't follow thru, so I think my reoccurrence are my fault. Hope this helps

Hi dolly. That is my diagnosis. BMX. No chemo. No radiation. No lymph nodes. Not taking the pills.
Some women here ask their doctor about taking a break from the pills to see if the side effects lessen. Maybe talk to your doctor and check out your options. While quality of life is very important and the pills are no guarantee- maybe if they could monitor you over a break and see what symptoms subside- you can go from there seeing how you feel.
