Hi I always get allergies this time of year took reg meds but around the 5th week of chemo started wheezing which is not ususal for me. I asked the onc and he said sleep on 2 pillows. He should have done an xray. It got worse and went to the hospital on the 21st with pneumonia. This week went to pulmonary dr. And she said the Cat scan showed diffuse pneumonex pattern consistent with chemo toxicity. Its rare. The quicker you act on this the better outcome. Still on oxygen steriods and breathing treatments.

I'm not sure if they can give it in conjunction with chemo, since it is a trojan horse chemo itself, but it could be worth asking your doctor about TDM1 or also called Kadcyla.
