Breast Cancer Site For Women Or Has That Changed?

A MyBCTeam Member asked a question 💭

This Breast Cancer site was created for women facing breast cancer and share their experiences in a comfortable environment. I realize men get BC and my heart goes out to them but there should be another site for support. I dont feel comfortable sharing side effects from chemo, meds with them etc. If this is the case I may drop after 4 years of sharing my journey thru happiness and tears.

Anni,
I know I’m just reading this now but I have to say my father died from Breast Cancer. I was five. I understand about women being able to talk to each other and I may lose lots of friends but if a man were to ask questions about Breast Cancer I would try to help him out. Yes we have lots of men doctors telling us what to do but maybe he just needed help. I can’t turn anyone away who has a question about breast cancer. My husband still doesn’t understand and I would hope one of you would help him. Remember we all bleed red no matter what. Please don’t leave and please try to understand why they have questions. I hope I didn’t lose a friend because fighting stage 4 now is kicking my butt! Love to my fighting family!

I sent an email to the site owners asking them to direct him to a mens support group. Thank you sisters

I agree it should remain a women's site.

I agree that I feel a little uncomfortable. There are way too many scams/hacks today. Hopefully he can find a site for men
