@A MyBCTeam Member: Lovely lady, it's normal for your mind to jump to worst case scenarios after what you've been through - all of of our panic buttons move a helluva lot closer to the surface after something like this happens. It's one of the worst parts of cancer - the distrust you suddenly develop for your own body. Before this, you wouldn't have given a second thought to some aches and pains -now a million alarm bells start firing off with every new weird twinge or pain. Deep breaths. The rational side of your mind knows that there are a million simple, valid explanations for what your aches and pains could be that have nothing to do with the dreaded "C" word. So try your best to focus on that side. If you have any pain that persists and/or worsens, of course get yourself checked out. I believe you're just fine - and I'll keep on believing it for you until you get there too. πŸ’•πŸ©·πŸ¦„πŸ’•πŸ©·πŸ¦„πŸ’•πŸ©·πŸ’•πŸ©·πŸ¦„

I had IDC Stage 1 in my left breast. I chose a double mastectomy. I will receive no chemo or radiation. I am taking an AI for five years. I had no lymph node involvement.
