Enhertu

Can anyone give their experience on Enhertu. I’m having really bad side effects

All these effects are because it’s an antibody combined with chemo in one drug. So it’s mostly the chemo that’s responsible for all the bad effects. There’s a slightly older drug that has a tad fewer effects, it’s the T-DM1 or Kadcyla. It might be an option to ask about from your doctor. Enhertu just came out of clinical trials and it has a slightly better effectiveness rate, but it’s known to have heavier side effects. Or, your doc could lower the dose.

I’ve had 4 infusions. Doing much better. Lost my hair. Diahria is difficult.

I had really bad GI side effects with my first treatment, but the second one wasn't bad. Less fatigue too. Now I'm losing my hair in spite of using the cold cap for both treatments. I am very unhappy.

Update to my response: doing better as far as GI, but I have had 3 treatments and 3 blood transfusions due to low hemoglobin. My doctor is ready to lower my dosage.

I’ve had one infusion. Resulted in horrible stomach pains. Pepto helps a little. My daughter read that some developed an adverse reaction to dairy. No
One told me that. It was dairy at least causing the stomach pain. Now I’m staying away from dairy and all
I’ve never experienced such diarhhea
Hair is shedding. Fearful about Monday infusion!
