She probably wanted to know what kind because some could have made it worse but she certainly could have explained that. She didn't do her best job on that one.

Its just crazy how it comes and goes . I put cream under it. I told my doctor I put cream on it and 4 times she asks 'What kind of cream'? I said just some ole cream I have to put on as a barrier, then she asked 'What kind of cream'? At one point I felt like screaming WHY DOES IT MATTER What kind of cream, just cream! I just made up a name because I didn't remember the name of it. It does help keeping breast from leaning against upper abdomen by putting a wash cloth under each breast to lift them off my abdomen. I think in the last 45 years I might have worn a Bra for a total of one year, I absolutely cannot stand being binded. I did try sports bras a few years ago for work and they were comfortable but after breast surgery caused nerve pain I could no longer put them on because any movement sent the pain in severe levels, I threw them all except for one.

A breast rash can have various causes, including infections, skin conditions, and breast cancer treatments. Here are some key points from my knowledge base:

Causes of Breast Rash:
- Breast Cancer Treatments:
- Chemotherapy: Agents like daunorubicin and methotrexate can cause rashes.
- Radiation Therapy: Can lead to radiation dermatitis, causing redness, peeling, and skin cell death.

- Targeted Therapy: Focuses on cancer cells but can also cause rashes.

Symptoms of Breast Rash:
- Itchy or irritated area on the breast.
- Changes in skin appearance, texture, or color (pink or red in lighter skin, white, gray, or purple in darker skin).
- Inflamed, scaly, painful, or blistered skin.

Specific Conditions:

- Thickened skin, color changes, irritation, and dimpling or pitting.
- Paget’s Disease:

I was given a couple bottles of a wash to use for the night before, and morning of surgery. It was a 2% clorohexidine solution. Since I am allergic to bandage adhesives, some soaps, lotions, etc. the nurse suggested I use some the night they gave it to me, just to see if I had a reaction. Since there was no issue, they used the same med prep right before surgery. Luckily, no reactions.
