I was diagnosed in 1987 with Estrogen negative cancer and at that time they did not test for the triple negative factors. I would guess that I would have been triple negative but I'll never know for sure. For what it's worth, I had double mastectomies and six months of chemo. And here I am 25 years later!

As of Wednesday August 15th, I was advised that I am cancer free. Its a long journey but you'll get through with a positive attitude and positive people :-).

I am triple negative and so were my mother and sister. I guess it was a family gene thing. I am a survivor after having BC in 2005. I was told triple negative was rare but after reading all the others... I don't think so!
