Taking anastrozole, am experiencing hot flashes, tingly prickly skin, insomnia, depression, muscle/joint pain. Not sure this is the drug for me longterm. Am taking glucosamine chontroitin. I do not want to take more meds to allow me to take this medication.

I'm now on Arimidex months now. Yes, I also had night sweats and hot flashes in the beginning. . . . Not so much now. Still experience joint pain but not bad so will continue the med along with glucosamine med like OsteoBiFlex

Thanks for sharing....I have started taking it about 2 weeks ago and have a lot of muscle and joint pain. I am glad it isn't just me. I do have night sweats and some hot flashes, already. I am taking an anti-inflammatory for other issues, so I'll have to ask if I can take anything else for the pain.

I had a really hard time at the beginning with Arimidex- Lots of Joint and Muscle Pain. About a year into it it got better- now the only thing is really hot flashes at night which I guess is pretty normal.
