Canabis Or Marinol?

I have not noticed anyone mentioning these treatments for pain & nausea...I would be interested whether anyone has been given one or either of them? Keep on fighting, Warrior Sisters! 😘

Dr. Sanjay Gupta did a docu last week on CNN regarding "Weed" it was an eye opener and has much medical value, reason illegal my thought only, states and feds don't know how to tax it, lol..There is a use for all of God's plants, and this has been around for years and used...I would not hesitate to use !!!!!

all of the other meds have so many terrible side effects and cannabis just does not-I mean at worst I could hurt a plate of cookies and take a nap...you know?

I remember being delighted one day that I actually ate a tablespoon of rice - that was all I could manage. I am not kidding when I say that cannabis was the only thing keeping me off a drip at the hospital. It was the only thing that worked.

Cannabis absolutely saved my life while on chemo, allowing me to keep some food down and for pain control. The Marinol does not work for two reasons: you can't swallow it if you're nauseous, and it takes too long to go into effect. Why use synthetic THC when you can have the real thing? Sadly, Medical Marijuana is not legal in my state. Therefore, I could not inform my doctors that I was using it instead of the pills they prescribed (which did nothing). It should be part of the cancer protocol everywhere.

I have a card and live in Washington state where it is legal...I thought to ask the nurse at my oncologists office what their office' position was on medical marijuana and she smiled at me and said "you just have to ask and I will give you the script" I was like yes please....I hate the way the pain meds make me feel and have the complete opposite reaction to the marijuana...not only can I eat (and DO) it helps with pain and with my frame of mind...and I can finally sleep through the night with no yucky feeling the next morning...
