Help!
Two weeks into taking Arimidex. Having bladder pain. Gave urine sample today , checking for UTI. Bladder feels irritated, inflamed. Not sure if this is a side effect? Any input is appreciated!!
Hi @A MyBCTeam Member. I'm sorry to hear of your issue on this med. I'm on letrozole and aside from fatigue, joint pain, neuropathy, feet and knee pain, I don't have any bladder issues. Have you spoken with your oncologist to see if this is a side effect. Or you could speak with your pharmacist who would probably know better about the side effects of the meds. I have been taking arimidex for six weeks now. Thought I had a kidney stone! Lots of pain in my right kidney when I lay down. Joint pain, headaches ... I see my oncologist Tuesday. I just wasn't putting it as a side effect .... Glad I read your post!
Wow, this is the first I've heard of this side effect. Good luck to both of you! It really stinks that we try to take meds that are suppose to help us fight this beast and we have to suffer such awful side effects! Lynn
