I wore a tank top and comfortable pants. I also took a light jacket because it was cold. You can ask for a spray that they spray on before they insert the needle in your port. It is called weinnie spray. It also helps to have family with you.

On chemo day, I made every attempt to look as chic as possible and under the circumstances. I thought if I looked presentable, it would encourage me and all around me. Makeup, scarves and cute hats...loose shirts to accomodate port plugin! Everyone always commented on how well I looked...always lifted my spirits! Had to power through to do it, but it helped.

I always wore a top with a somewhat scooped neckline, that could be pulled down to give easy access to my port. I also took a sweater...

I wore my husbands button down shirts. They were very roomy.

I was given so much Ativan during chemo... I don't really remember treatments. A good way to go through chemo!!!
