Post Chemo Hair

Just curious if or what products anyone uses on your hair once it starts growing back. Mine has gotten pretty thick, but I am still nervous about going without my hats, head covers. It is about 1/2 inch long, but I don't want to do the "spikey" look. Any suggestions are appreciated!

I have the same look as CTGreene. I found some cheapie dollar store headbands work best with some mousse. Mine is about one inch in length and I basically went out bald the moment I had a shadow of hair on my head! I really dont care waht other thought of me :)

Lucky for us the pixie look is in style! My hair is about 1/2" long and I haven't worn a hat for about 2 weeks now. I do put eye makeup on when I go out so I look stylish :-)

Aveda has a product called Invanti that helps with hair growth. There is a shampoo, conditioner and scalp spray. I have been using the scalp spray twice a day since two weeks after my last chemo on 1/28. I also use the shampoo. My hair is slightly less than 1/2 inch long now. It isn't cheap, but unlike Nioxin or Rogaine, this is botanical based, all natural, and the hair you gain won't fall out when you stop using it which can happen with the other products. It can strip hair color so I don't plan to use it long term, just until I have enough hair to go out in WI and not freeze or look bald.

basically using a hair molding cream to train my hair into a part. and she razor cut around my ears to make it look like a choppy cut. much better than the way it was growning in. I use one of those thick hard head bands to make it look a little more girly.I'll post a pic for you to see @A MyBCTeam Member
