Hi Robbi, I have nipple tattoos and I LOVE them!!!!! I finally feel whole again and am not embarrassed to change in front of anyone in the locker rooms at the gym! They look so real!!! I went to a tattoo artist in my hometown who does excellent work on the 3-D nipples tattoos. I have seen her work and I was sold! I could have had them done free of charge if I went to my plastic surgeon's office but the tattoo artist there I felt was not as talented at the woman I went to at the tattoo shop. It cost me $300 but it was sure worth every penny!!! When I show my friends they cannot believe that they are not real. It truly has made a significant difference in how I feel now when I look in the mirror. There was hardly any pain involved. I had them done 6 months after my exchange so maybe I was still numb but it really was not painful at all. I actually cried in front of the tattoo artist saying that I was so thankful for her talent in helping women like me feel whole again! It truly is a gift! Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

I have a friend that has done these, and they turn out amazing, but he has been a talented tattoo artist for years. Make sure you do your research, and make sure that you find someone that has done them before, so you can see pictures of previous ones done. You always hear about the horror stories.

I haven't done my tattoo's yet but I'm going to have this fabulous tattoo artist do mine. I had my nipples reconstructed so I think a 3-d tattoo on top of my reconstructed nips will look amazeballoons!
