Nipples
Anybody that has had nipple reconstruction is it normal that after a few months it's as if you never had nipples in the first place? I wonder if that's the case why we are even offered this procedure? I was expecting it to be permanent guess the joke was on me.
I decided not to have the tattooing. I like the thought of being able to wear a white tank top and not having brown showing through. I will just make periodic appointments with my plastic surgeons medical spa and have callogen injected into them.
I mean 3D Tattoos...ha
I did some research and am opting 3D nipples. In lament terms, you basically are creating something esthetic that is a scar, and the bodies natural reaction is to heal. So some peoples have healed completely flat or the scar healed so well it feel off!
Check out www.AmyBlackTattoos.com in Richmond, Va. She does nipple 3D tattoos. I watched her do my friend's last week. Amazing! So life like!!
I personally feel that it is better to have the nipples tattooed by a professional tattoo artist. There are several who do this kind of tattoo now. Some PS do have regular tattoo artist on staff. A tattoo artist uses a very different type of ink then a lot of PS use in their offices. I went on the internet and typed in 3D tattoo's. I have found one in Chicago and one in St. Louis, the closest to me. But now I have decided not to do the nipple and am having my tattoo artist right here in my home town tattoo over the whole scar. We are working on a design and hope to start after the first of the year.
