Dry Skin Due To Treatments

A MyBCTeam Member asked a question 💭
Bellmore, NY

Any suggestions regarding hypoallergenic, organic products for dry skin? I usually have it in the winter months but with all the treatments (chemo and radiation )and Letrozole daily it seems like it's starting quite early.

Been using Miaderm all over but I am already on my 4th tube and I will need to reorder shortly if I can't find any other.

Thanks in advance for any info you may have.

Hugs, Cindy

Since chemo began I've been rubbing myself down with grape seed oil after a shower with great results. I thought of it because, when my son was about 6 months old, I took a baby massage class and that's what they told us to use on our babies☺

I too mix Shea butter with coconut oil. Make sure it is organic. Skin absorbs and we do not want anymore toxins in our system!

I was informed by my MD to use pure Shea butter . I ordered it on line and I sometimes mix it with pure coconut oil. I alternate between the two. One day straight Shea butter,, next day coconut and Shea. I put all over me as well because I am dry and I love warm baths. It is really greasy , but it sinks in and makes my skin so soft. Hope this helps.
