I got shampoo and conditioner from the hospital called come back. Worked for me but mine was not permanent hair loss.

You might ask here too Lisa in the Q&A section. There's probably lots of girls here that used cold caps.

I used Nioxin shampoo. I'm a former hairstylist and that product line is amazing for even regular thinning hair. Now my hair is back with a vengeance! What was straight fine hair is now a bush of curls.

Thank you ChristineHenderson. I wish it was to shrink tumers but since I have had them removed. I don't think that is the right one for me. But did talk to more Dr. On the subject and they all agreed that the er- and the pr- with her2/ nue. Was the best after surgery. And suggested that I ask about the cold caps. Thank you for the advice. Going to talk to one. On the 11 and see what she says about the cold caps.

I would do more research and maybe visit the forums on Cancer.org. I did that to hear more from people who did not get hair back. Taxotere is the best one to my knowledge for us. It really does shrink the tumors.

You need to decide though, it's a very personal choice. Don't let anyone rush you, talk to friends and family and do what makes you comfortable. I'm with you no matter what!
