Cancer Free Anniversary

So... what date do you go by to mark your cancer free anniversary? The day you got your free & clear scan results after all your treatment ? Your mastectomy date? I'm just wondering . Thanks!

I think I’ll use my mastectomy date too. That was the end of my treatment, I didn’t need radiation afterwards, had chemo before. I’m on Tamoxifen now.

I go by my surgery date because I went in with cancer and came out cancer free.

@A MyBCTeam Member that's great news that everything is clear. I was on Herceptin for a year after my mastectomy. Nothing like chemo, no bad side affects at all. I wish you continued good health .
