I had a little blistering but my biggest issue was fatigue. I would fall asleep at work.

I had my radiation after my chemo. Actually, the chemo wasn't too bad. It made m a little nauseaus, but not bad. The radiation, on the other hand, was horrid. After awhile my skin was burnt and it really hurt. They gave me silvadene cream and it helped tremendously. If you are experiencing burning from radiation, please ask your Dr. about the cream!

Fatigue was big for me. They say when you do radiation after chemo, the fatigue is worse. My skin was reddened, but intact. They had me our aquaphor on 2-3 times a day.
Not a picnic, but tolerable.
Good luck!

Hi Lisa:
Touch base with the nurse and radiation oncologist that you see by calling before the next appointment. Very important that they know this and check you out at that visit.

I get dizzy each time as they sit me up quickly at the end. I have to sit for about 30 seconds. But ask your team to check your vitals and perhaps refer you back to your Internist for a follow up.
