In a very low amount area, green tea and certain foods lower estrogen levels.
But, it is not enough to offer protection against estrogen driven cancers.

Thanks Karen. Glad to know this is a concern by others. I see my oncologist in a week and a half and she is going to have to have a pretty hard sell job ready. I’ve been researching but not a lot out there for natural alternatives to limiting estrogen production for woman!
I’m 72 and was fairly active prior to dx. Quality of life is a big deal to me.

Hi Jan, HER2+ for me, I did the surgery, chemo and follow-up infusions of Herceptin, This month marks four years out of treatment for Stage 2, Grade 3- and so far, so good! Not fun, but do-able, and the targeted therapy drugs have been a game changer for HER2+ Wishing you all the best as you decide on the protocols that are right for you! Hugs!
