Your radiologist or the nurse should recommend something for it. I might also be told not to use antiperspirant or deodorant that contains aluminum. I would start your moisturizing the area to be treated before you even start radiation. Aquaphor I did not care to use at all. To Greasy for me. Also showering lukewarm water and possibly a body wash that contains a moisture in it. I used Dove for sensitive skin and do not rub the area with the washcloth. Just squeeze the wash cloth out over the area and gently pat dry. Another hint if you still have a breast had only a lumpectomy make sure under your breast make sure nothing is going on there. Ex skin break down or yes a fungus growing. You should also be having a regular check ups by your radiologist also. I had one every other week until I was finished with my radiation. Also ask a lot of questions which you can prepare before you start. Ex questions can I use ice packs for the swelling or what pain medications if iam in discomfort. I truly wish you the best and you will get through all of this stuff. Sorry I couldn't of been of more help each person and doctor etc has different ways that they do things. The suggestions I give are only what I went through.🥰

I used the La Roche-Posey products. I had radiation June of 2022 and still use these products. My radiologist recommended the lotion and cleanser. She also recommended showering in tepid water to avoid damaging the skin further. I wore lose garments and avoided the sun. I found radiation to be tiring so rest whenever you can. Also, drink water all day! It will help moisturize from within.

Sony, I would recommend miaderm. My radiation Dr gave me a sample to try and I ordered more. I didn't get red until the last week of radiation.
