It's a grey area. Specks of cells in some areas. Up to my choice. Would you stay with same surgeon? HER2 negative ER+PR+ Stage 1 yet I saw intermittent cells which she did not tell me and when I asked she said not important. Due to them knowing the where how angles of surgery? I had a lumpectory and two surgeries following to cut more tissue until clear margins. I got an infection after 3rd but quick action with antibiotics cleared it up. If cells are left on margins cancer cells could be present and spread. That is why they want clear margins.
