Who Feels Or Knows That Diet Eating Healthy Clean A Certain Way Affects Our Healthbreast Cancer? True? Not Proven? I've Got Mixed Messages.
Of course we will feel better might help but my Dr and nurse say I did not cause it by my stress weight and eating because it's a herditary gene. It's really hard to change eating for me. Got mixed messages from Western diet western medicine Drs views vs online info vs naturopathic or ancient Chinese medicine acupuncture nutrition advice vs regular nutritionist
Good morning Moonshine, are you accessing this site by phone or laptop?
This is part of mine to give you an idea, there are 2 other pages that resemble this one . I assumed the ones in bold lettering are the ones that are bad.
I don’t think the point we’re all here making is to reject Western medicine for a purely natural one (although some people have indeed had success with just the natural one). I think it’s wise to combine those! Whatever works for each one of us individually can be pursued freely. The problem with Western medicine is that it has tunnel vision and doesn’t look at the whole body. Of course it has some powerful medications that help. But treatments such as chemo and radiation, which in the long run can cause secondary or metastatic cancers, go against the body’s natural immune system. The point is to combine some of each side of medicine to help your body fight the cancer in a better way and restore your body’s natural powers along the way. Cancer goes where the body has been weakened. Chemo and radiation do that. They are short-term solutions. But doctors don’t care about what happens later. If anything, you’ll be yet another patient with lots of $$$ on your forehead.
Case in point, chemo agent Taxotere (docetaxel) destroys your immune cells and you’re left with only 65% of your immune system after treatment. It never recovers from that level. This has been proven in a study. So why would anyone then be surprised that cancer reappears even stronger a few years down the road. Both chemo and radio are also mutogenic - they change the DNA of the surrounding and healthy cells. Doctors know that. Didn’t we just talk about how gene mutations result in cancer?
Thank you interesting debate and perspective. I appreciate everyone's feedback. I now just started lupercon and the anatrozole. I'm half half A** on my food behavior. Sometimes good sometimes not. I was just upset and was so confused with a lot of conflicting info vs each other. We all have to deal with our trials and triumphs I hope more truimphs and victories. I was really shocked surprised and a taken back and deeply hurt as most of you must been at finding out. I fought hard investigating. Being pro active getting opinions and standing up for my self. Now I'm just really tired. Thanks again
If you feel you have a particular thing in your diet that is not helpful- like soda, replace that. I used to drink an obscene amount of soda- lol! So, since I was trying to drink more water anyway- I decided I would replace my soda with water, tea, healthy juice, and some coffee. Once that felt like it was my normal- I chose something else to switch, so I got rid of chips, easy enough since the greasiness wasn't agreeing with me anyway. I can air pop popcorn and munch that instead. Just make one change at a time- I usually eat vegetarian for breakfast and lunch- dinner- maybe, maybe not. I have to cook for the hubs. And I figure even if I do not do plant based for any dinner- my overall diet is 2/3rds better than before! Perfect?? No, but again, moderation is the key for me! You will figure out what will work for you and be sustainable! Hugs!
