Well, i pulled the trigger and scheduled my total hysterectomy. I’m nervous so please give me all the healing tips and any natural remedies for menopause. (I will not be doing HRT)

I never had to have a hysterectomy, but I am in the midst of menopause. I had decided on low dose HRT, which helped a lot. However, I had to immediately quit taking the estradiol and progesterone when I was diagnosed, even though it turns out that I am negative for both. I am now back to getting hot flashes and night sweats, along with low libido. Weight gain moved up around the middle and bra area. I had a double mastectomy in December so I feel very oddly shaped now. Hoping to have a successful breast reconstruction this summer after I finish chemo. Maybe, I’ll start feeling normal again…💗🙏🏼 Praying all goes well with your surgery and recovery. 💗🙏🏼💗🙏🏼

So young...I am sorry. I know a lady who has a very low tolerance to pain and she had it done back in the fall and she was scared about how bad the pain would be, she was surprised it wasn't bad at all and didn't have to stay in bed like she had thought. Your problem will be lifting your little one. You really shouldn't lift at all and then your little one would also put pressure on your stomach. Will someone else be there while you are healing?

Keeping you in prayers for every success with your procedure, and that your daughter loves all the extra family coming in to spend time with her! Hugs!

My cancer was Estrogen positive. I spent 15 years on HRT and years on birth control. There are many things on the market for you instead of HRT.
You will recover quickly! You’re young and strong❤️💗💗

I know… it’s all been very scary. But I’m hoping after this it will all be over. Unfortunately the only help i have is my mom, and she does a lot. I’m trying to have some family fly in to stay with my and help with my daughter atleast the first couple of weeks. I think the worst part is how much work I’ll miss. I worked through my entire treatment but i can’t do that for this major surgery 😭
