Sorry To All Of You I Posted The Wrong Question. The Question Should Of Read Fat Necrosis In The Breast.
Yes, my plastic surgeon said it is when some of the fat cells die and clump together and make lumps. Sounds scary to those of us who have had cancerous lumps but he said it’s basically harmless, just can be uncomfortable. I guess some people opt to have those lumps removed and others just live with them.
I had trouble with fat necrosis, I had lumps and dimples in my breast. Had implants removed and started over with new implants, better results 2nd time around.
I felt a lump during my radiation treatments. It scared me so i saw my doctor who recommended an ultrasound. Ultrasound showed fat necrosis. Nothing to worry about, they said. Phew!!!
