I Am Looking For Women Who Are Taking Anaszole Or Have In The Past.
I have been on Anastrozole since August of 2018. The medication made me nauseous at the beginning because I was taking it in the morning. I switched and started taking it before bed and had no more issues with nausea. I do have hot flashes but nothing severe. I an expected to take this for 10 years.
I've been taking Anastrozol since I think I started it in Sept last year. I only get hot flashes at night. Some mild joint pain now and then.
I'm taking it, Jenn. I added gabapentin to my plan to try to stem the hot and cold flashes that were consuming my nights and days. I've been on that for 10 days 300mg and have seen a huge improvement. Hardly any flashes at night and only a few during the day. I'm also not as emotional, but have gained 2lbs. since starting, but that's what my body does when I get a new med. It will drop off as I acclimate. I hope. The brain fog is marginally better, I seem to be able to recall more short term memory things, but focusing on one detail is very hard. In fact, it just doesn't happen. I have to drop it and try again later.
This whole process has been crazy. Crazy scary, crazy informative, crazy amazing and overall, I feel extremely blessed!
The only thing I take is a calcium vitamin D supplement.
Juist a quick note: I had no real issues with the side effects.....nothing horrible - however, my doctor had told me that I could eat drink take supplements anything I wanted as long as it did not have estrogen....I restarted taking my collegian....found out later that the pill was not working - and in rare cases collegian can interfere with the effectiveness of this medication. from what I read it is not at all common....
