The BIG half of this issue is until you are diagnosed with breast cancer, you have no idea what testing may have found it sooner. And when you're first diagnosed, you're so overwhelmed that it's hard to be your own advocate.
We need to forgive ourselves for missed opportunities.
We have to be our own advocates! Too many women are not getting the necessary testing until they have a tumor or a mass that spread elsewhere in their body. It makes me so angry.!
We don't know what we don't know. 🤔
Totally agree . It is not only the testing we sometimes do not get it is the emotional support when we cannot get further treatments because of heart issues. I feel I am written off sometimes.
