Why Doesn’t Invasive Lobular BC Respond To Chemotherapy

Chemotherapy is more targeted at bio markers, and positive lymph nodes, not the type of breast cancer. There are regimens with targeted therapies for bio markers. For example, Herceptin & Perjecta (targeted therapies) are often given with Taxotere & Carboplatin for triple positive. Keytruda (targeted therapy) is given with Taxol, Carboplatin and AC for triple negative. Inflammatory breast cancer is treated with chemo, but the regimen is based on the bio markers. I find it interesting that Er/PR+ doesn’t respond as well to chemo as triple negative and positive.

@A MyBCTeam Member: it does respond, sometimes, but it doesn't always respond as well to chemo as some other types of bc.

I wonder why you ask this. I have ILBC. No one has said it does not respond to chemo. Who told you this?
