Missed Invasive Lobular Carcinoma With Lymph Node Involvement.
Has anyone opted to have a mastectomy for Invasive Lobular Carcinoma? Two radiologists missed my cancer and thankfully a third radiologist found the cancer while he was reviewing my scans prior to doing biopsies on “2 cysts ”because I insisted. They were cyst but the “area” he found was also biopsied and that one was cancer. I knew something was happening within my body. I did. And then discovered it was metastatic.
Sending hugs to you too as my lumpectomy turned into 5/20 positive nodes and mixed invasive ductal and lobular carcinoma. Have found no information on this mixed type
