Sounds like it was caught early so that is really good. Sorry I can't help with the support bra situation. You should get some replies that will help.

Thank you for your reply. Waiting for results of my tumor size was small early stage and lymph nodes. No shower, weight limits. Pain meds. as needed. Having a Hard time finding the right support bra at night.

Hi P4. It really depends on the incision, size of tumor etc. Did your surgeon say anything about limitations? I had my lumpectomy many years ago now. The only limitations that I remember is that I couldn't shower for a period time. I would think that perhaps there would be short term lifting limits but don't remember much else. I was working at the time so there couldn't have been too many restrictions.

After a lumpectomy, it's important to avoid certain activities and behaviors to ensure proper healing and avoid complications. Here are some things you should not do:

- **Avoid Strenuous Activities**: Refrain from heavy lifting, vigorous exercise, or any activity that could strain your chest or arms until your doctor gives you the go-ahead.

- **Don't Wear Restrictive Clothing**: Avoid tight bras or clothing that can irritate the surgery site. Opt for soft, comfortable bras and loose-fitting clothes.

- **Skip Underwire Bras**: Until your doctor advises otherwise, steer clear of underwire bras as they can irritate the incision sites and interfere with the healing process.

- **Avoid Exposure to Harsh Chemicals**: Be cautious with products that contain harsh chemicals, such as certain body lotions or cleansers, near the surgery area.

- **Don't Rush the Healing Process**: Each person's recovery timeline is different. Don't rush your activities back to normal until your body is ready and you have consulted with your healthcare provider.

Always follow your doctor's specific recommendations for post-surgery care.
