How Long Did It Take For The Delayed Side Effects From Taxotere To Go Away?

My legs are sore, swells easily and toes are tingly. My onco tells me that this is from Taxotere - it’s been 10 weeks since my last infusion…🥵

I had no side effects from the chemo meds. Guess I was one of the lucky ones

Wanda, I am suffering a bit with chemo fog but started to undertake some cognitive exercises and mindfulness meditation to try and change things a bit. Sorry I have no information to offer regarding Seborrheic Dermatitis. Sending healing thoughts and prayers your way

You are doing good if you just have the tingly toes!! My hands and feet were on fire 6 months after finishing chemo, and it took well over a year to get to where I am now, which is just a bit of numbness at the tips of my fingers and toes! The more the fatigue lifted, the more I felt like doing, and the more you do- the stronger your leg muscles will become. Your heart pumps blood, but it is up to the muscles of your legs to help work against gravity and move the fluid from the legs. Whenever you take a break, elevate your legs. Get your steps in daily, and ask your doctor if compression socks or hosiery might help. You can always ask about PT services to learn about massage, and seated exercises to help you build back your strength. Hang in there, it should keep improving! Hugs!
