Unfortunately I could not tolerate Verzenio. They expect you will get diarrhea but I didn’t. I lost all strength in my arms and legs. Could not lift myself up to get out of bed. Fell several times could not get up off the floor. I would rather have had diarrhea since that is manageable. I regret the fact I cannot take verzenio

Hi Rani. My liver function has been ok. My CBC is a bit messed up. My WBC and RBC are low but not so low that anyone is too concerned. I did get one transfusion in December or January because I kept getting sick all winter so I mask everywhere. Even in the summer.
I also am anemic but I was before cancer so I don't think that is part of the side effect profile. Just thought I would mention it in case.
The hardest thing to contend with for me has been diarrhea and stomach cramping. I take a fair amount of Imodium multi symptom and use Zofran with every dose. The GI stuff is better now that I am on 100mg twice a day instead of 150mg. Just make sure to let your doctors know about side effects and if they don't listen hopefully there is a nurse navigator that can help you. I even went so far as to find a second opinion doctor but I had exceptionally bad care my first year.
I have some systemic achiness but don't know if that is the drug either. I hope this helps. Please keep me posted on your progress through treatment.
