I had a double mastectomy on may 1st. My left breast was the one affected but I chose the double mastectomy. I had lymph nodes removed and now have swelling and numbness under my left arm a. My left chest is painful to touch. I started physical therapy but the doctor paused it due to radiation burns. Radiation does aggravate the swelling and numbness due to lymphadema. If you had lymph nodes removed. You should see your doctor maybe physical therapy would be helpful.
