Tamoxifen And Period

A MyBCTeam Member asked a question 💭
Cleveland, OH

I started the tamoxifen in July and I was told it could impact my period. I’m a week early for this month so I guess that’s the impact. Also had a few new symptoms added to the mix.
Anyone else experiencing this?

Hi Leslie!
Mine was actually later & was a lot lighter! However, it did last a little longer. So good & bad. I have had a few times where I felt warm/hot but didn't last long. My appetite/hunger has really gone down. I see this as a plus, as I've dropped 9 pounds :) I'm only on 10 mgs. slowly ramping up to 20, but so far so good. Good luck to you!
