Rep. Ro Khanna: "In the short term, we should cap out-of-pocket costs and require private insurance to cover any claim Medicare would."
I am so blessed to be covered by the VA and TriCare4Life, which means my surgery and a year of Chemo was covered 100^. I can't image anyone having to any amount out of pocket.
One dose of Pergeta was billed $13,300. That was only one drug every three weeks for 12 months.
Congress needs to take action and pass this bill.
There is non profit I worked at 2010 for 5 years called PAN Foundation.org that gives grants for medcations .This is not a loan but Grants to cover costs of the meds .Look them up if you have need and see if you r drugs might be coved under one of the grants they offer.

Maybe there should be another bill to prevent bankruptcies with healthcare costs.
Suggest that.

That would be awesome. To have an insurance to say no to a treatment is so sad.
Oh Wow! That would be a revelation. Thank you Sue10. You're super.😊👍
